IIDE SEO Course Review: Is the ₹34,999 Online Course Worth the Price?

Do the maths before you pay. IIDE’s online SEO course costs ₹34,999 plus taxes, and its own page promises 12+ hours of recorded video. That works out to roughly ₹2,900 for every hour of content, and you get 60 days to watch it. The page also admits the course has no live projects. For that money, you should know exactly what you are buying. IIDE (The Digital School) is a well-known name in Indian digital marketing, so many learners assume a high fee means a deep course. This review checks whether that holds for the SEO course.

01

TL;DR

IIDE’s SEO Course Online is a beginner-friendly, self-paced course with six modules, about 12 hours of recorded lectures, a certificate and weekly doubt-solving sessions. The fee is ₹34,999 plus taxes, listed down from ₹42,000. The syllabus covers the basics well: keywords, on-page, off-page, technical SEO, tools and local SEO. But the page says there are no live projects, gives you 60 days of access, and contradicts itself about placement help. It suits complete beginners who want a structured start and a brand name on the certificate. If you want to work on real websites or get job-ready, the price is hard to justify. I haven’t taken the course. This review comes from IIDE’s public pages and a Trustpilot profile, listed at the end.

Below, I cover what you get, where the course is thin, and who should look elsewhere. I score it on seven factors so you can compare it fairly with other SEO courses.

02

What the Course Is

The course is called SEO Course Online, and IIDE markets it as “#1 Online SEO Course with Certification”. I found nothing on the page to support the “#1” claim. It is entirely recorded: short video lectures that average about five minutes each, across six self-paced modules. IIDE suggests 30 to 45 minutes of study a day. You need a laptop with an i3 processor or better, and the page does not recommend phones or tablets. Doubts go to a WhatsApp community and weekly sessions.

03

What You Will Learn

The six modules are:

  1. Introduction to SEO
  2. Keywords
  3. On-Page SEO
  4. Off-Page SEO
  5. Technical SEO
  6. SEO Tools and Advanced Strategies, including local SEO, rich results and building an SEO strategy

The page names these tools: Google Keyword Planner, Yoast SEO, Google My Business and Screaming Frog, along with unspecified SEO audit tools. The whole syllabus is described as beginner-friendly, with no prerequisites.

04

What You Get at the End

You receive an IIDE certificate of completion, which the page calls “industry-recognised”. To earn it, you must finish every video and score at least 60% on the final quizzes. Support comes through the weekly doubt-solving sessions, which the page describes as one-on-one mentoring, plus the WhatsApp group and a learning portal.

05

What Works in Its Favour

  • A clear structure. Six modules in a sensible order make it easy to follow.
  • Short lectures. Five-minute videos are easy to fit around a job.
  • Real tools. Screaming Frog and Keyword Planner appear in the syllabus.
  • Weekly doubt sessions. You are not left entirely alone.
  • A known brand. IIDE’s name on a certificate carries weight with some employers.
  • Positive public feedback. IIDE holds a 4.7 TrustScore on Trustpilot from 92 reviews, with 96% at four or five stars. Those reviews cover the institute in general, not this course.
  • Honest FAQ on one point. It says plainly that there are no live projects.
06

What It Leaves Out

  • No live projects. For a skill learned by doing, this is the biggest gap.
  • Short access. Sixty days is tight if you work full-time.
  • Mixed messages on placement. One FAQ answer says there is no placement assistance. Another mentions “personalised mentorship and placement support”. Ask IIDE which one is true before you pay.
  • Unnamed trainers. The page says “expert trainers” and gives no names or experience.
  • No course-level reviews. The page shows no ratings for this course. The Trustpilot profile has had no new reviews in the last 12 months, and it covers IIDE as a whole.
  • Unsourced claims. The page quotes a $122.11 billion industry forecast and salary ranges up to ₹30 lakhs with no sources, so don’t rely on them.
  • Nothing on AI search. The syllabus I saw names no GEO, AEO, ChatGPT or Perplexity lessons. For that, see my guide on ranking in ChatGPT and Perplexity.
  • Fee plus taxes. The final bill will be higher than ₹34,999.
07

Factors I Judge the Course On

  1. Price and value
  2. Beginner friendliness
  3. Depth of content
  4. Practical work
  5. Up-to-date information
  6. Support and trainer access
  7. Value of the certificate
08

Detailed Overview of Those Factors

I haven’t taken this course, so the scores come from IIDE’s public pages.

Price and value: 2/5. About ₹2,900 per content hour, with 60-day access and no live projects, is expensive for recorded basics.

Beginner friendliness: 4.5/5. No prerequisites, short lectures and a gentle order of topics. This is the course’s strongest point.

Depth of content: 3/5. Six modules cover the whole field, but 12 hours is limited. Technical SEO has only three topics, and I can’t tell how deep any of them go.

Practical work: 2/5. Quizzes and tool lessons exist, but the page confirms there are no live projects.

Up-to-date information: 3/5. The syllabus covers the standard topics, but I saw no AI search lessons and no update dates.

Support and trainer access: 3.5/5. Weekly doubt-solving and a WhatsApp group are useful. The trainers are unnamed, so I can’t judge their experience.

Value of the certificate: 3/5. The IIDE name helps a little. Employers still care more about proof that you can do the work.

Overall view: about 3.0/5. A tidy starting course from a respected name, but the price asks for more than recorded basics deliver.

09

Who Should Take It

It suits:

  • Complete beginners who want a structured first step
  • Learners who prefer short, self-paced videos
  • People who value an established brand on their certificate
  • Anyone who can finish the course in 60 days and does not need hands-on guidance

Skip it if:

  • You want to work on real websites
  • You are paying mainly for job placement
  • You need more than 60 days to study
  • You want to know your trainer’s background before enrolling
  • You work with multilingual sites. Try my free hreflang tag generator first

Top 5 Reasons You Should Give Mohit’s SEO Training a Chance

Searching for an SEO course you can trust? My advice: learn practically from a trainer who sits with you and watches you do the work. Recorded videos can teach the vocabulary, but they can’t tell you what you did wrong on a real site. At Mohit’s SEO Training, I run my classes on that principle. Here are my top five reasons.

  1. Practical knowledge. You work on real sites in my Advanced Online SEO Training, or get my full attention in One-on-One SEO Training.
  2. Learn to make your own AI SEO agents. You build tools that run audits and recurring checks for you. See the full curriculum.
  3. Updated information. Google updates and AI answer engines keep changing the rules, so I teach what works now.
  4. A funny way of teaching. SEO can feel dry, so I keep classes light enough that the ideas stick. Past students share their experience on the testimonials page.
  5. 12+ years of experience in SEO. I’ve worked on local, international, eCommerce and B2B sites, and you can read more about me.

If you’re in Bangalore, we also run SEO training in Bangalore. I also offer a free demo class, so you can judge my teaching before you decide. Contact me to book it.

Final Thoughts

IIDE’s SEO course is a clean, beginner-friendly introduction, and the brand is real. The fee is the problem: for ₹34,999 you get 12 hours of recorded video, 60 days of access and no live projects. Before you pay, ask IIDE in writing about placement support, the trainers’ names and whether access can be extended. Then compare the offer with a course where someone checks your work. You can test your skills first with my free advanced SEO quiz and compare other options on the alternatives page.

Sources of Reviews

IIDE’s own pages (self-published, so treat the claims with care):

  • IIDE SEO Course Online. Fees, modules, duration, access period, certificate rules, support, the placement FAQ and the student count.

Independent sources:

  • IIDE on Trustpilot. A 4.7 TrustScore from 92 reviews, mostly about the institute as a whole. The profile is claimed by the company and shows no reviews in the last 12 months.

Independent course reviews: I found no independent review of this specific SEO course. IIDE’s own blog roundups of “best SEO courses” are not independent, so I didn’t use them. If you have genuine student feedback on this course, send it and I’ll add it with attribution.

Disclaimer

This review is my independent opinion, based on IIDE’s public pages and a public Trustpilot profile as I saw them. I haven’t taken the course, and fees, content and policies may change, so check IIDE’s official page before deciding. I’m not affiliated with IIDE. I run Mohit’s SEO Training, so I have a business interest in SEO education. This is general information, not professional advice, and I can’t guarantee any results.
