Yet many people still type “Preston SEO course” into Google hoping to learn search engine optimisation. “Seo” is his surname, not his subject, and that one mix-up can cost you a lot of money for a skill you never wanted. So I put his program next to mine, Mohit’s SEO Training, to show what each one really teaches. I run one of the two, so every outside claim below links to its source.

Who is behind each program?

Preston Seo
Preston Seo is a real estate investor from Salt Lake City, Utah. He left a corporate sales job in 2021 to invest full time and started his Airbnb program in 2022 (Ippei). He also hosts the Legacy Investing Show, which has a large following. His Roadmap now sits inside a coached program called Airbnb Ascension, which runs for 6 months with a mentor (Rakidzich). The word “SEO” in search results is only his family name.
Mohit’s SEO Training

In short: they are built for two different goals, and only one of them is SEO.
What will you actually learn?
Preston Seo’s lessons cover picking a US market, talking landlords into a sublease, furnishing the unit, listing it on Airbnb, VRBO and Booking.com, and automating pricing (Rakidzich). The only “SEO” in it is making your Airbnb listing show up higher inside Airbnb. My course teaches Google SEO end to end: keyword research, technical audits, hreflang, indexing problems, topical maps, link building, GEO and AEO.
Cost
This is where the gap gets big. With Preston Seo, the fee is only the start. You also need cash for deposits, furniture and the first months of rent. With SEO, your only tools are a laptop and free ones like Search Console. You can practise on your own blog from day one.
Method of Teaching
Airbnb Ascension mixes recorded videos, weekly Zoom calls and a mentor who checks your deal numbers. That is a good setup for a business coaching program. My founders program is live and one-on-one, so every session is built around your own brand and website.
Promises Made
Preston Seo’s marketing talks about profit within about 12 weeks. Reviewers such as Ippei call that hard to reach, and note the reported income may be revenue, not profit. I make no false promises. What I do is make sure you start getting interviews before the course ends, through a proven framework. If anyone guarantees you a job or a fixed income, be careful.
Is Agentic SEO Covered?
