If you run a business in London, your next customer may never see your website. Ofcom found that 41% of UK internet users had already used a generative AI tool in a single year, and Ahrefs measured a 34.5% drop in clicks for the top Google result whenever an AI Overview appears above it. Meanwhile, a single day of SEO training in London costs anywhere from £195 to £995, and most of those days still teach SEO the way it worked before ChatGPT. For a London founder, the right AI SEO course isn’t the one closest to Shoreditch or the one with the smartest venue. It’s the one that teaches you, on your own website, how to show up in Google and in AI answers, and leaves you with AI agents that keep doing the work after the course ends.
TL;DR
I’ve compared 20 AI SEO courses a London founder can realistically take: London classrooms, one-day UK workshops, global online programs, free academies and one-on-one coaching. For founders, I rank Mohit’s SEO Training first at 4.9 out of 5. It’s a private, one-on-one program built around your own business. It covers GEO, AEO and building your own AI agents, runs live online in UK-friendly hours, and costs £500 for a full two-month program of one-on-one work, about what many London venues charge for a single training day. Jellyfish’s AEO day at The Shard, London Web Factory’s personal training and JTID’s one-to-one GEO sessions are the strongest London-based alternatives. If you’re wondering whether learning from an Indian trainer works for a London founder, I’ve answered every doubt I could think of, from accents and time zones to UK market knowledge and data security.
Why should a London founder learn AI SEO in 2026–2027?
Because the way Londoners find businesses is splitting in two. Some still type into Google, where AI Overviews increasingly answer the question before anyone clicks. Others ask ChatGPT, Perplexity or Copilot directly, “Which accountant in Islington handles startups?” or “Best B2B design agency in London?”. If your business isn’t named in those answers, you lose the enquiry without ever knowing it existed.
For a founder, that changes three things:
- Your agency reports can mislead you. Rankings may look stable while enquiries fall, because the clicks are going to AI answers instead.
- You need to brief people better. Even if you never do SEO yourself, you need to know enough to judge an agency or a freelancer.
- Small teams can now do more. With a few AI agents, one founder can run audits, track AI visibility and draft content briefs that used to need a person.
I explain the mechanics in how to rank in ChatGPT and Perplexity.
In short: London founders should learn AI SEO because buyers now find businesses through both Google and AI assistants. Founders who understand GEO, AEO and AI agents can protect their enquiries, brief agencies well and do more with a small team.
What should a founder check before paying for an AI SEO course?
A founder’s time is the expensive part, not the fee. Before you book anything, run these seven checks.
| Check | Why it matters for a founder | Walk away if… |
|---|---|---|
| Is it applied to my own website? | Generic examples don’t move your revenue | Every exercise uses a made-up site |
| Does it cover GEO and AEO, not just Google rankings? | AI answers are where buyers are going | The syllabus never mentions ChatGPT, Perplexity or AI Overviews |
| Will I build AI agents, not just use ChatGPT? | Agents keep working after the course ends | “AI” means writing blog posts with prompts |
| Does the trainer still do client SEO? | AI search changes every few months | The trainer’s last client project was years ago |
| Is it live, with someone reviewing my work? | Feedback is what turns knowledge into results | It’s recordings plus an email address |
| Is there support after the course? | Results show up weeks after you make changes | Support ends when the session does |
| Is the price clear, with nothing hidden? | Founders hate surprises on invoices | VAT, materials or follow-ups appear later |
In short: Choose an AI SEO course that uses your own website, covers GEO and AEO, teaches you to build AI agents, is taught live by a working practitioner, and offers support after the course at a clear price.

How does each AI SEO course work for a London founder?
1. Mohit’s SEO Training: AI SEO for Founders (4.9/5)
This is my own program, so please weigh my view with that in mind. It’s built for founders, not SEO students. Over a two-month program we hold live strategy sessions on your own website, with weekly one-on-one office hours. We cover competitor and keyword strategy, GEO and AEO, content systems, digital PR and conversion. You also build AI agents that run audits, reports and research for you. After the two months you get a 12-month roadmap and continued support, and a teammate can join you. The fee is £500.

2. Jellyfish: From SEO to AEO (4.3/5)
A polished one-day class at The Shard or online, covering how AI search retrieves content, technical AEO and measuring AI visibility. It’s pitched at intermediate marketers, so founders new to SEO may find it fast. It isn’t tailored to your site.
Sources: course page.
3. London Web Factory: Personal SEO Training (4.2/5)
One-to-one with founder Adrian Smith, who has taught since 2011, over five Zoom hours or a single day. The modules include how LLMs retrieve information and AI Overviews. It’s a strong personal format, though it’s less focused on GEO strategy and AI agents.

4. JTID: GEO Training (4.2/5)
An affordable, focused GEO session with Jon Tromans: about 4 to 5 hours, £195 online for one person, or £550 at your London office. It ends with a practical review of your site. It’s a single session, so ongoing support is light.

5. Rough Agenda: Advanced GEO & AI Optimisation (4.0/5)
A hands-on day at Marble Arch with a lab where you build a prompt-tracking pack and a 90-day roadmap. The May 2026 date sold out, so watch for the next one. It’s advanced and group-based.

6. brightonSEO: Advanced GEO & AI Optimisation (4.0/5)
Taught by Impression’s technical SEO leads, with conference access included, for £470 + VAT at the early price. It’s excellent for depth and networking, but it’s a day trip to Brighton and not tailored to your business.
Sources: course page.
7. brightonSEO: Beginners GEO (3.8/5)
Myriam Jessier’s beginner day covers prompt audits, how LLMs describe brands and agentic AI. It’s a good first step for founders, with take-home checklists.

8. Reforge: Mastering Search & AI Optimization (3.8/5)
Strong strategic content for growth teams, but it’s part of a membership of about $1,995 and offers no one-on-one help with your site.

9. Indexify: SEO Training London (3.6/5)
Flexible 1-to-1 or team sessions in Mayfair or remote, on your own website, from £495 + VAT. GEO isn’t part of the syllabus, and AI appears only in the top tier.

10. CXL (3.5/5)
Rigorous, data-led marketing courses, priced at about $289 to $2,698 a year. It’s broad rather than founder-specific.

19. Semrush Academy (3.0/5)
Free courses that teach SEO alongside the Semrush tool.

20. Google SEO Starter Guide (3.0/5)
Google’s own guidance. It’s free, essential reading, but it’s not a course.

In short: For a founder who wants AI SEO applied to their own business, Mohit’s SEO Training is the strongest choice. Jellyfish, London Web Factory, JTID, Rough Agenda and brightonSEO are excellent London and UK workshops, and the free academies are good warm-ups.
Should a London founder learn AI SEO from a trainer in India?
I’d have the same doubts if I were in your seat. You’re trusting someone thousands of miles away with your time, your website and your growth. So let me answer each worry the way I would on a call with you, honestly and without the sales talk.
Will I be able to understand you clearly?
Yes. Every session is in English, and I speak slowly and plainly on purpose, because SEO is confusing enough without jargon on top. Every session is recorded, so you can replay any part you want to hear again. If anything I say isn’t clear, stop me. I’d much rather explain it twice than have you nod along. The easiest way to be sure is to book a short call first and hear me for yourself before you pay anything.
How will the time difference work with my London day?
India is 5 hours 30 minutes ahead of London in winter (GMT) and 4 hours 30 minutes ahead in summer (BST). So a 10am London session is mid-afternoon for me. I schedule sessions around your diary, so you won’t be joining calls at midnight. Weekly office hours and messages fill the gaps between sessions.
Do you understand the UK market, or only India?
SEO doesn’t change at the border, but the competitors, the search results and the buyers do. That’s why we never work on generic examples. We study google.co.uk results, your actual London and UK competitors, and what ChatGPT and Perplexity say about your category today. I work across global, local, B2B SaaS and eCommerce SEO, with clients outside India, including Australia. Every recommendation is based on your market’s data, not assumptions.
Is the lower price a sign of lower quality?
I understand why it might look that way. A single London training day can cost £500 to £1,000, and my founder program is £500 for two full months of one-on-one sessions plus a 12-month roadmap. The difference comes from my cost of living and running costs, not from cutting corners. I’ve done SEO for more than 12 years and still run client campaigns every week. Read what past students say on my testimonials page before you decide.
Will I really build my own AI agents? I’m not technical.
Yes, and you don’t need to code. We build practical agents together, step by step, using tools like Claude Code, ChatGPT and Gemini. For example: an agent that audits your site each week, one that turns Search Console data into a plain-English report, and one that drafts content briefs from real customer questions. By the end you’ll understand what each agent does and how to run it yourself, so they keep working long after our sessions finish.
Will this be about my business, or a standard course?
It’s about your business from the first session. We start with your website, your competitors, your ideal customer and your revenue goals. Everything after that, from keywords to GEO to AI agents, is applied to your site. You can also bring one teammate, so the knowledge stays in your company.
Is it safe to give you access to my Search Console and Analytics?
You stay in control. You add me as a user with the lowest access level the work needs, and you can remove me with one click at any time. I never need your passwords. If your company needs an NDA before we look at your data, ask me and we’ll sort that out before we start.
How do payments and invoices work from the UK?
You get a clear invoice with one fixed fee and no surprise charges. International payments are straightforward. Ask me for the payment options and invoice details that suit your accounts team, and I’ll confirm everything in writing before you pay.
What if I miss a session or fall behind?
Founders get pulled into fires, I know. Every session is recorded, and we can move a session when something urgent comes up. Weekly office hours are there so you can catch up without falling behind.
What happens after the two months?
You don’t get dropped. You leave with a 12-month roadmap, and support continues while you put it into action, because SEO results build over months, not days.
Will you tell me the truth, even when it’s uncomfortable?
Yes. If your site has a serious problem, or your agency is reporting vanity numbers, I’ll tell you plainly and kindly, and show you why. Honest feedback is the fastest way to grow, and you’re paying for the truth, not for compliments.
How do I know you’re the real deal?
Check my work before you trust my words. Read my course reviews, look at my free SEO tools, read the testimonials, and then book a call. If after that call you feel I’m not the right fit, I’ll happily point you to one of the London options above.
In short: Learning from me in India works well for London founders. Sessions are in clear English and recorded, scheduled in UK hours, built on UK search data and your own business, and give you two months of one-on-one work for £500, about the price of a single London training day. You’ll build your own AI agents without coding, keep full control of your data, and get support for 12 months.
What do London founders ask about AI SEO courses?
What is AI SEO, in plain English?
It’s making sure your business shows up when people search on Google and when they ask AI tools like ChatGPT, Perplexity or Google’s AI Overviews. Think of a buyer in Canary Wharf asking ChatGPT for “a reliable payroll provider for a 20-person startup”. AI SEO is the work that gets your company named in that answer.
How long does it take a founder to learn AI SEO?
About two focused months to understand it and set up the essentials, then a few more months of steady work before results show. That’s why I pair the two-month program with a 12-month roadmap.
Do I need to learn SEO myself if I already pay an agency?
Yes, at least the essentials. A founder who understands GEO and AEO can spot vanity reports, ask better questions and tell whether the monthly retainer is producing enquiries.
Is an in-person London workshop better than live online training?
An in-person day is great for focus and networking. But for a founder, one-on-one work on your own website usually delivers more, because every minute goes into your business rather than a shared example.
Can I claim the training cost as a business expense?
Training that improves skills for your current business is often treated as a business expense, but rules depend on your situation. Check with your accountant before you rely on it.
In short: AI SEO gets your business named in Google and AI answers. It takes a founder about two months to learn and a few more months to show results. It’s worth learning even with an agency, and one-on-one online training usually beats a shared classroom day for founders.
So, which AI SEO course should a London founder choose?
If you want a focused day out of the office, Jellyfish at The Shard, Rough Agenda at Marble Arch or a brightonSEO training day are excellent. If you want AI SEO applied to your own business, taught one-on-one, with AI agents you keep using afterwards, that’s exactly what I built my founder program for. If you’re serious about learning AI SEO and actually executing it, choose a live, one-on-one program with a trainer who still does SEO for real clients, wherever in the world they happen to sit.
You can read the full AI SEO for Founders program, or send me a message with your website and your biggest SEO question. I’ll reply personally.
In short: London workshops are great for a focused day. For lasting results on your own business, choose live one-on-one AI SEO training from a working practitioner.
